Time is running out to support the Caravan! Your money will support an active presence by the Pacific Northwest at the Social Forum, and enable us to bring back the stories and insights we learn to share and activate change in our own communities.
PLEDGE A CONTRIBUTION NOW for as little as $10 dollars to cover the cost of the trip for social justice activists in Portland and Olympia to make it to Detroit.

Bikes (collecting 10,000 for a Detroit non-profit)
What your money will support: The cost of the trip is around $300 a person, just for transportation. Our goal is to include food and housing for 30 people during the trip. We’re striving to keep this affordable for everyone and are below the lowest estimate of cost on the USSF website.
We would also like to be able to make a contribution to Detroit organizations making a difference in a city on life-support by capitalism run amok. Check out the BBC documentary titled “Requiem for Detroit?“
Finally, we are pledging to sponsor some of the costs of the Venezuela community media delegation coming to the forum. In addition to standing in solidarity with their work, we will be hosting them throughout the forum and co-sponsoring a North-South dialogue on grassroots community development through this workshop.
